Created in 2012 by Caroline Aranha in Ilhabela, Brasil. Summer House is a lifestyle, swim & resort wear brand that has the holiday home as an inspirational setting for the development of bikinis, clothing, accessories, and decorative objects sold in its own flagship and e-commerce, in addition to of selected multibrands. The creations reflect the search for travel and new experiences, part of the universe of the vacationer with a keen aesthetic sense and an expert of beach destinations around the world.
Carolina Aranha, the founder, was born and raised in Ilhabela. Her father was an architect and forerunner of the chic and unpretentious style of houses on the North Coast of São Paulo state. Her mother is German, living in the island since the 70s, where she had a multi-brand bikini shop and where Carolina worked in the beginning of her career.
Original collections are developed around the brand's universe, with exclusive prints and modelling. All phases of the development process take place internally at the brand design office in São Paulo. Designer, pattern maker, seamstress and quality control work together. Mastering the entire end-to-end process is what allows for close contact with the consumer and the creation of assertive collections, special pieces with high quality and perceived value, with their own design and personality.
